Wonderful

I was very happy with the room as we were allocated a seaview room that I requested.

The service and food was very good. However, I would have preferred to choose the vegetables to go with the evening meal. For example, we had the Turkey dinner, which came already plated, and came with Brussel sprouts, stuffing and sausage and bacon rolls that I didn't want so would have preferred more other vegetables.

Good location.

Was unaware that dogs were allowed in certain rooms, we ended up in one of those rooms and my husband had to take antihistamines due to a dog allergy.

Very Good

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the entertainment. Breakfast was good, but would have liked croissants. Would love to come back if/when you have any special offers, but would prefer a different room.

The room we were in definitely needs an update. Too small for 3 beds. No phone or mini fridge, very basic. Husband found the bed not comfortable. We were on the 1st floor, not sure of room number ?174 or ?177, and there was a lot of noise from the rooms above us.

Really nice hotel.

Really nice hotel. High standards. Room was surprisingly cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Nice bathroom. Really recommend that hotel. Gym has good equipment and a lot of what is really rare. Nice clean pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Opportunity to have spa and massages. Interior is really nice.

Lovely family stay with great location and value

The staff we came across (Housekeeping, Reception and especially Restaurant team at breakfast 19.01.20) were lovely, polite & happy to help. The location is amazing for families, as the town is easily walkable without a pram or car being necessary, as well as the beach literally being on the doorstep I can imagine it’s great in the summer. We were in a standard Family room and it had lovely big beds, with an en suite. Whilst the decor & furnishings were dated it didn’t impact our stay at all - plus we were thrilled the reception team could accommodate an early check in AND a late check out to ensure our little children (two under two) could get in naps. People badmouthing the breakfast? I don’t know what to say? It is fantastic value for money, and there was plenty of choices there for those who wanted a hot breakfast, toast or fruits, cereals or croissants with ham/cheese, yoghurts and they do let you know that they can accommodate for vegans or special diets in advance - be sure to mention when booking. My partner and I are already looking at dates to stay again, but will ensure to check that there aren’t party nights on when we next visit.

Sadly there was a few attention to detail disappointing moments to note in the bathroom & the bedroom(toothpaste on the mirror, hairs on the dresser and bathtub, TV remote wasn’t cleaned of sticky marks, marks on the bathtub that would have come off with a wipe - all evident in photos we’ve provided) so whilst not being nice we know the sheets were cleaned, there was no problem with a dirty floor and the room smelt fresh on arrival. It was also a bit difficult to get into reception with a pram as we couldn’t work the lift by the accessible entrance so had to carry the pram up the stairs. We weren’t told that there was a party on, and if we didn’t use white noise apps for the children for their bedtime as a family we would have struggled more - a couple of times we could hear a DJ/party goers and it set off our youngest. None of this really took a huge dent away from our weekend as a family travelling though, and we will still recommend to others for staying here. We would just suggest that our friends book a better room, that the hotel offers early/late checks when there are young children included for Family bookings as a non negotiable instead of a potential perk and we’d also get the venue to confirm (even if it’s a generic copy/paste in the confirmation note) when there is a party night on to families who book incase they have young children who aren’t great sleepers.

Rooms need TLC and the staff need some CS training?

The room was unbearably hot throughout the stay it was like being in a sauna, really difficult to sleep, myself and my daughter were awake most of the night because of the heat and the noise as well, there was a constant stream of noise, we ended up getting up at 6am and going for a walk. The breakfast was ok, not the best quality but considering the cost, adequate. I travel to St Annes nearly every weekend and am always looking for good accommodation but I don't feel I would book here again ?

Another problem was the lack of parking ! I had to park on the main road and when I asked the receptionist would the car be ok there she said probably because it was 5pm, she didn't suggest an alternative and wasn't very reassuring, I think if you are aware of the parking issues then you should definitively have alternatives to suggest. I was up and out early due to the room issues but if that wasn't the case I would have had to get up early to move the car to other parking, not conducive to a relaxing stay.

Swimming pool was good had use of gym as well Breakfast was really good was great value for money

The room wasn't as clean as I hoped for as I have stayed here before and it was spotless was a little on the noisy side floor boards squeaked a lot and some guests was a little noisy at night

Didn’t like the breakfast went down the first morning didn’t go the second day.there was nothing put out there excuse was because they where not busy

Very helpful staff and excellent location.

Very helpful staff and excellent location. Plenty of cafes shops and restaurants close by and of course the seafront is just across the road at the front of the hotel. Children were catered for very well at this hotel.

Rooms are probably in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was not the best and lukewarm.

The hotel is warm and cosy.

The hotel is warm and cosy. Christmas decorations were lovely. Breakfast good.

We had a superior room. Although the bed was comfy the bathroom was dirty and smelt. The toilet was filthy, the soap dispensing in the shower was grotty and the seal on the shower door was green mould.
