The hotel is owned and run by the Croston family and has been for over 3 generations. All Boutique bedrooms have 42 inch plasma TVs with 100 channels and Egyptian cotton quilts.

Bit scruffy in parts staff bit off hand not very explanatory shower was red hot then cold got burnt in it illegal to have showers like that now in hotels

Wonderful
I was very happy with the room as we were allocated a seaview room that I requested.
The service and food was very good. However, I would have preferred to choose the vegetables to go with the evening meal. For example, we had the Turkey dinner, which came already plated, and came with Brussel sprouts, stuffing and sausage and bacon rolls that I didn't want so would have preferred more other vegetables.

Good location. Value for money but needs updating
been before - we know the place and location - so easy for us - got a last minute good price for a one night break -
The problem with the hotel is that it’s getting very much in need of updating and money spending on it - and we felt the lounge area wasn’t that clean - especially as dogs allowed

Great location, easy parking, staff very helpful, hotel very pleasing and comfortable
Room a little tired particularly the bathroom needed some TLC. At dinner seemed short staffed, although they were helpful
